Buffer Instructions

  1. Make sure firearm is unloaded
  2. Remove the front pin and upper receiver
  3. Pull out the charging handle and remove the bolt assembly
  4. Compress the op-rod / ejection rod assembly into the bolt to reveal the 1/16 roll pin in the end of the op-rod
  5. Remove the 1/16 roll pin and carefully disassemble the op-rod / ejection rod assembly from the bolt
  6. Remove the spring from the op-rod
  7. Install the buffer on the op-rod taking care to orient the second hole for the ejection rod properly
  8. Reverse removal procedure
ALTERNATE DIRECTIONS
  1. See 1-3 above
  2. Cut out large hole with scissors cutting a square over the hole
  3. Install buffer over ejection rod (this rod and frame of gun will hold the buffer in place)
  4. Reassemble
