Who can own a machine gun?
The average US citizen is not aware that most of us can own Class 3 weapons. This category of weapons includes: Machine Guns, Suppressors, Short Barrel Shotguns, Short Barrel Rifles, and Any Other Weapon’s. Most states will allow us to own at least some of these weapons by completing the proper paperwork and paying the corresponding tax. These weapons are called NFA (National Firearms Act).

To qualify for Class 3 weapons you must:

  1. live in a state which allows the item you are trying to own. You are responsible for knowing and understanding the laws in your state.
  2. be able to meet the federal requirements to legally own a firearm (Form 4473) Basically, if you can legally own a handgun, you can purchase Class 3 weapons.
  3. have the CLEO (Chief Law Enforcement Officer) willing to sign your Form 4. This person could be the Sheriff, the State Police, or Chief of Police. This person must state that he does not know of any reason why you should not possess this NFA firearm. If he will not sign your Form 4 the ATF will not process your Form 4 application. He is not legally bound to sign your Form 4.
  4. have been fingerprinted by the CLEO (or representative). These cards are submitted along with your Form 4 and the $200.00 tax to the ATF. (AOW’s have a $5.00 tax)
It is always a good idea to find a reputable dealer before buying any NFA. He will be able to help answer any of the questions that you may have while considering the purchase of your NFA firearms.

NO international sales, for any items, no exceptions. However, we can direct you to a stocking export dealer that can facilitate export paperwork.
 
Any firearms sent to us for Form 4 transfer or any firearms purchased from us will have the paperwork done by us to the buyer/transferee within two days. If an effort is not made on the part of the buyer or transferee to have their paperwork completed within 3 months a storage charge will begin at $50.00 per month. Please do not use us to store your items until you can find another buyer. ATF sees this action as dealing without a license and is illegal.
